The Snyder Move - Kitchen

Ellen Snyder lived in her home for 57 years, 47 of them with her beloved husband. After living on her own for the past 10 years, she came to the very practical decision that it was time to downsize, and make a move while she was still able to do so. She wanted to continue living independently, among friends.

Knowing several people at Holly Creek, she chose an apartment at that wonderful community. Her children were cheerfully involved in her decision, and extremely active in the entire process. It was a pleasure working with a family who obviously loved each other and wanted the best for their mom. Ellen anticipated her new, fulfilling lifestyle with great joy. We truly enjoyed assisting Ellen in her move!

In her daughter Patti’s words:

“What a move! We couldn’t have done it without you all! From our first meeting with Shanda, to pre-packing, to the actual move day, we could tell it was carefully orchestrated to make it as easy as possible for my 95 year old mom.

The movers from ‘Room 2 Room’ added to the experience with their great attitudes. Shanda and Susan stayed to make sure the apartment was perfect for Mom, and at the end of the day, she already loved her new home.

I said to Shanda: Not only is it a move handled with care, it’s a “home in a day!”. Shanda was fabulous to work with from start to finish, and she was never too busy to stop and listen to Mom if she had something to say! Susan took the time to ask Mom about some of her precious belongings, listening to the history behind them, which my mom just loved!

Just wanted to pass along my utmost thanks and appreciation! As you know, leaving a home of 57 years can be stressful, with the team handling the details and logistics, Mom embraced the move and is a very happy new resident at Holly Creek.

Every Good Wish,
Patti”
