The Nyhus Move
We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to serve this family twice. First, we assisted with Catherine’s original move a new retirement community. We truly enjoyed working with this family and that move was a great success.
When Nancy called us again, it was due to her mother’s passing, and she needed our help in sorting through all the beloved belongings. We will let Nancy tell you the rest.
In Nancy’s words:
“I received assistance from A Move Handled With Care twice in the last 3 years. My mother moved out of her home in Lakewood to a retirement community closer to me. The ladies spent a great deal of time helping her sort through and pack what would move with her. They even took pictures of shelving.
On moving day, the movers showed up at 8:00am in Lakewood and by 1:30 EVERYTHING was in place: pictures were hung, cupboards filled, knickknacks on the same exact shelves. No boxes, no packing materials. We were in. It was miraculous, and made Mom’s transition to a new place much less emotional and stressful.
Once mom passed, I again received miraculous, efficient help in packing what I wanted moved to my house and what was to be donated. In a matter of hours, it was all done. Family heirlooms in their new home, safe and sound. Everyone who helped was friendly and respectful. I can’t give them high enough praise.”
